Since our post on Tuesday about the benefits of avocado I’m sure you have been searching for and finding recipes using avocados. Here is a great one that I have made a bunch of times. Most people have no idea that there is avocado in it until I tell them.

(Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Vegan)


2 large avocados (ripe), mashed 

6 tbsp raw, unsweetened cocoa powder

5 tbsp pure maple syrup.

¼ – ⅓ cup unsweetened cashew or coconut milk

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Pinch fine sea salt


Combine all ingredients until smooth (a food processor works great here). Serve Immediately or chill first. Enjoy!
