Smoothies are amazing, but sometimes it’s fun to mix it up a little! We took a spin on our weekly smoothie recipe with this delicious bowl of mint chocolate goodness (aka our Mint Chocolate Chip Smoothie Bowl).
- ½ an avocado
- Staterra’s Organic Brown Rice protein OR New Zealand Whey protein isolate (vanilla)
- ½ a frozen banana
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp Peppermint extract
- 3/4 Cup Unsweetened almond milk
- ¼ of a cucumber
- 1 cup of kale or spinach
- 1 tbsp cacao nibs
- Other toppings as desired! We used toasted coconut flakes, chia seeds, banana and sunflower seeds.
- Blend all of the ingredients with water and ice
- Pour into a bowl and add toppings
