Let us know what you think of this immune-boosting concoction! It was everything we needed this morning to get us back in the swing of things.
- 1 medium orange
Kick start your day with a high dose of vitamin C to boost your immunity and deliver antioxidant effects!
- ½ an apple
Not only are apples rich in antioxidants, flavonoids and fibre, but they are also said to reduce the risk of cancer, hypertension, diabetes and heart disease.
- 1-2 large carrots
Another antioxidant! Don’t forget the beta-carotene, which contributes to beautiful hair, skin and nails!
- ½ a banana (as ripe as possible, raw or frozen)
Rich in fibre, potassium and magnesium, bananas are delicious and essential for heart health.
- 1-2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
This will detoxify your body and fight illness, while delivering powerful doses of calcium, potassium, and vitamin C.
- 1 tablespoon honey
We know you’re sweet enough already, but let’s add some honey seeing as it’s also proven to prevent cancer, heart disease, ulcers and other gastro-intestinal disorders.
