To celebrate, we will be posting some awesome weekly smoothies developed by our nutritionists. The first being our Green Goddess Smoothie! We hope you enjoy this nutrient-packed powerhouse as much as we do.
- 1 cup of spinach
Superfood alert! High in niacin, zinc, protein, fibre, Vitamins A, C, E, and K, iron, calcium, potassium and so much more.
- 1 cup of kale
Another superfood! High in fibre, protein, vitamin A, K, C, calcium, potassium, vitamin B6 and the list goes on.
- 1-2 large carrots
Not only are carrots an anti-oxidant, but the beta-carotene in them will also contribute to beautiful hair, skin and nails.
- 1 banana (as ripe as possible, raw or frozen)
Rich in fibre, potassium and magnesium. Delicious and essential for heart health!
- ½ an avocado
Full of healthy fats and almost every nutrient you can think of, this will keep you feeling satisfied and amazing until your next meal.
- 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
This superfood is not only amazing for digestion, but it’s jam-packed with fibre and nutrients such as calcium, magnesium, manganese, protein and the best kind of fats.
- 1 teaspoon of Hawaiian spirulina (optional)
