Now that we are creeping into the summer months, few people want to spend the time inside cooking when they could be spending that time outside. The solution? This delicious, healthy, and quick seven layer dip. A great addition to parties or an evening on your patio.
Seven Layer Dip

Ingredients:

10 oz YOSO dairy-free yogurt (unsweetened)
1/3 cup nutritional yeast
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 can black beans (BPA-free ideally), rinsed and drained
2 medium/large ripe avocados, chopped up and a little bit smooshed
1 tomato, chopped
1 teaspoon sea salt (or more to taste)
1 small jalapeƱo diced (if desired)
2+ cups salsa (bought or homemade; medium or mild in spice)
1 cup shredded butter lettuce
2/3 cup sliced scallions

  • Mix the yogurt, nutritional yeast, salt and chili powder well.
  • Layer the remaining ingredients as follows (bottom up): Beans, yogurt mix mix, avocado, jalapeƱos, salsa, lettuce, tomatoes, scallions.
  • Serve with Mary’s Organic Crackers and unlimited raw vegetables.
